Its been a really long absence . Probably a little more than a year . Anyway its the 5th today & i would like to wish my lovely son a happy 1 year 4 months old ! I am so thankful to have you existing in my life . You bring light to everybody & you changed me into a whole new person . I love how easily you can smile at even the slightest thing . Its great that you're cheerful but at times you have a very bad temper which you probably got from me hahahaha . So many things have happened within the 1 year when i have stopped blogging as frequently . I have cut my hair shorter , pretty much getting used to it . But i do miss having really long hair but come to think of it , i have no idea how did i survive with such hot weather in singapore . I do plan of letting it grow back to how it was . 

Around May of 2016 , i was working for a company called Valiram , its a luxury line & i was working in Michael Kors . For only about 3 months . I was posted to changi airport terminal 2 departure . It was a great experience . We meet different kinds of customers from different country . Some are really nice & friendly whereas some are not quite there . Learnt alot of new stuffs about luxury brand . I actually enjoy working there but its a pity that the benefits in the company is not quite beneficial . Therefore i left after 3 months . Furthermore , working in the airport shift is really tiring as you have 2 different shifts . 1st shift is the morning shift which means you have to open your store at 6am in the morning & end work at 3;45pm in the afternoon . As for the morning shift you get to take the company's transport to bring you to work as there wont be any public transport that early . Which also means i have to get up at some holy timing . So i usually wake up at about 3:30am to take a shower & do my make up . The company's transport will usually come & pick me at my place at about 4:30am . Would reach airport at about 5am . So i have a spare 1 hour & i would usually go for my breakfast first then head to the store for opening . As for the night shift , we start work at 3:15pm in the afternoon & end work at 1am in the midnight . In this way , we would have transport taking us home . So either way regardless of which shift we are in , we still get a one way transport . Pretty good right ? But the tricky part is when you got used to morning shift & then you have to jump to a night shift after your off day is fucking your body clock up . 

After i left Michael Kors , i went to Sunglass Hut to give it a try . This time its at changi airport terminal 1 . Haha initially i was hoping to get into the Sunglass Hut at terminal 2 . Plainly because the sales there is very good & they could draw at least a 3-4k monthly . But its too bad that terminal 2 has no shortage of staff whereas terminal 1 needs staff . I thought it wouldnt be that bad for terminal 1 though . I wont get a 3-4k but maybe at least a 2k . But when i started working there , its even worst that i thought . The sales is really bad & i doubt i would get at least a 2k with a basic that low . In addition , we only get 1 off day per week & the working hour isnt fixed . Sometimes you have to work for 9 hours & sometimes 11 hours or so . For any extra hours that you worked it will be accumulated into an off day for you which they call it an Replacement Off . So that becomes 2 days off per week . But they would actually remove your replacement off if they need you back . Which i kinda dont like . I mean if the sales there is as good as it is in terminal 2 , i wouldnt mind . But the sales isnt that good & the working hours is unpredictable & my replacement off might be removed anytime . Although its kind of relaxing to work there because you dont have to clock in & out when you go to work or leave for work . So it doesnt quite matter to them if you came in late for a few minutes . Whats more is you get to wear jeans & normal t-shirt or whatever you like as long as its black , grey or white . You can choose to wear a covered shoe or an appropriate sandals . You can also choose to put on make up or not . You do not have to tie up your hair if its long . Pretty awesome aint it ? But during my work there some issue cropped up . My son fell sick & i requested to stay at home to look after him . My manager understood & he gave me unpaid leave . Soon after that i fell sick as well . So one day he told me he would remove my schedule & told me to let him know when i settled all my stuff so he could arrange again . After about a day or two he removed me from the group chat that they had for terminal 1 . So i assume that i somehow got fired . I think it has been a week now & he didnt message me or anything . Well , i dont think this is how a manager should handle things . But its alright since i didnt really want to stay there as well .

So now i'm back to square one , sourcing for a new job nearby to my place . Meanwhile i have some quality time at home with my son . Currently waiting for him to recover from his flu & cough . Things are getting better though . For now its just a slight one . Same goes to me . Was planning to bring him out once he have recovered but the thought of 7th month is a no no . Maybe i could but refrain from getting home too late . & i guess thats about all for today's update . I will try to do another update soon . I dont know if anyone still reads my blog but i'll still do it when i can . 

Hi guys , after being gone for so long , i'm back with a post about something new . It is the arrival of my newborn ! It was the 4th of april & I was resting at home as usual while my husband go to work . But i have already felt a little contraction in my sleep that morning which felt just like menses cramp . So it was an on & off thing for the whole day . My mucus plug came off at about mid afternoon & i panicked . The first thing i did was to call my husband then call a family member . Then i took a shower & i was sent to KKH . Went to do some registration at the delivery suite then admitted to my ward to wait for the water bag to burst . The contraction got worse during the wait until i couldnt take it anymore that i had to request to go to the labor ward where pain relieve will be given there . I tried taking laughing gas but it didnt work & i only realize that i have been using it wrong until i took epidural . The contraction was so bad that each time it contracts , i would shiver & have to grab onto something . But right after the epidural took place , i dont feel a single pain anymore . The entire of my lower body is numbed . & we just have to wait for me to be fully dilated & as well as for my water bag to burst . I started delivering in the afternoon at about 1pm . Took me an hour to give birth to my big boy . Doctor said he is too big for my size & i had a hard time getting him out . So the doctor had to use the vacuum method to help me with delivering . But my son's heart beat was decreasing as i took too long to get him out . Doctor said that we'll try vacuuming one last time if not we're gonna have to cut you open . C-Section was a big no for me & i dont want it so i gave it my all . BLOOOP ~

As you can see , his head is kinda long due to the vacuuming but it will subside after a few days . & this boy weigh 3.02kg . Oh my .. for a petite girl ? Anyway . after he's out , i was so exhausted that i just dont wanna do anything . They just put him on top of me & clean his body . Then they removed the placenta & do the sewing . After the epidural wear off i swear its damn uncomfortable . I was very severely swollen & it took me about a month to recover from the wound . But time past quickly . In a blink of an eye he is already 5 weeks old . I gotta admit it aint easy being a mum . You sacrifice everything . Your freedom , body , sleep , time , patience , just everything . Why body ? Because women go through bodily changes during pregnancy & even after pregnancy . Stretch marks here & there , flabby tummy after birth , backaches due to epidural etc . But when you look at the smile on his face , everything is worthwhile . Lets let the photos do the talking from now ...

Hello guys , after a long disappearance of 20 days , i'm back with another update . We've hired a maid to help me out during my confinement & even after to takecare of my baby . & she will be coming in about 11 days . Went to ikea the other day with hubby's sister & mother in law to buy a bed for her & we also bought a baby cot at only $79 with 2 adjustable heights . We have gathered quite almost everything that baby needs when he's born . We actually spend a bomb at this shop near our house that sells baby stuffs while there's this group on facebook that sells either brand new baby items or 2nd hand baby item at a cheap price . They even have people giving away baby clothes for free . Hubby's friend invited me into a few groups like this & i found this girl giving away baby boy clothing for needy mummies & i met up with her after work to collect it . Work . Did i mention work? Yes hahaha i'm currently working as a part time beautician at serangoon central . Basically just helping out & doing basic cleansing . Will only have to work 12 days per month , & 8 hours per day . Even though its still 8 hours per day , i'm starting to feel the ache around my ankles & my back still ache as usual even though i'm sitting down . I've actually gained 12kg after my pregnancy & none of these 12kg goes to me . Hahahaha okay. maybe a little but i swear i dont look horribly fat . 1.5kg goes to my little boy & the rest are probably the water inside & things like that . In a blink of an eye , 7 months have passed so quickly & i'm gonna go into labour in 2 months time or even less than that . The more i think about it the more nervous i get . Well , first time mum . Everybody gets nervous . Many people have been asking me if i'm going for c-section or natural or taking epidural . & also after listening to a few opinions from friends & family , i would like to try for natural birth but its gonna be super tough . I have no idea if my body can withstand everything but i have to try right ? They say that i'm very young & everything should be okay . My problem & my worry is what is it gonna feel like , will i be able to take it , will i this , will i that . Hahaha no pointing fretting so much . When the time comes , my body will do everything . What i need to do is to have a positive mindset . Anyway , i guess my next update will be in 4 weeks time which is my next check up . So thats it for today . Byeee !!

MERRY CHRISTMAS & A HAPPY NEW YEAR !

Another year have passed . & i would call this year , 2014 , a life changing year for me . Met a great man , settled down with him , started a family young . We both stopped night life together . No smoking , no drinking , no fighting . Stopping all of these actually saved us alot of money . Cabbing here & there , cabbing home in the middle of the night , eating after drinking , opening of liqour bottles , buying cigarettes . Spending up to a few hundred dollars per night could have lasted you for a week . That is if you're eating something simple . I cant believe how much we both have changed . Throwing back to the times where we take a cab wherever we go instead of taking a train or a bus but now we rarely take a cab unless the rain is pouring heavily or we are late for something . Never knew we could succeed & change ourselves but we did it !

 Alright that topic is random but lets get back to the christmas post now hahaha ! All these years i have been spending my christmas with friends & this is my first year , spending christmas without any friends , but with my husband . I also came to realize that it is not about whether you're receiving any gifts on this special occasion or not .. to me its actually about who you spend this day with . I wasnt expecting for any gifts this year but to my surprise , my husband actually got me a present . It was last tuesday . He was working night shift that day & i fell asleep while waiting . When he got home , he put the present on the bed & i woke up to a surprise . I didnt really think that it was for me initially & i asked him if it was for me . Because it might be his colleagues at his work place organizing a gift exchange session or something . But it was for me anyway haha i was so happy . Unwrapping the present with a smile & it appeared to be a victoria's secret perfume ! It was so pretty ! Probably because its pink hahaha i have posted a photo of it but it doesnt look as nice as it is in real . thanks sweety ! I love it alot .

Then we went to redhill to visit my grandma the next day & shara bought some tang yuan from mr bean . Okay i know we're late for the tang yuan occasion for 2 days but she still get to eat them ok hahahaha ! Shara also bought me a gift from Aldo . 6 pairs of earrings . Thanks Shara ! She also shared some cookies & muffins with popo . So we stayed to chat a little before me & hubby head down to golden mile to have dinner with his cousin , heng long . It have been so long since we last ate mookata & now we finally get to have it . There's also a slight increase on the price because they have changed their prawn to a tiger prawn . Right after the dinner we head down to serangoon garden to have ice cream for our dessert ! Yummy day ends here .

On the 26th , we met up with javier & andy for javier's birthday dinner after hubby end work . We went to eat hokkien mee at whompoa then go to orchard for something else better . But end up going to river valley because my fat boy wants to eat steak but eating at orchard is way to pricey . So here we are at five & dime . I ordered this chicken thingy . I cant remember what is it called but its good anyway . My fat husband ordered this salmon thingy which i cant remember what its called as well . But he was so disappointed with it because its small & pricey & not fresh . But we had something that taste so so good for our dessert . Now this i remember ! Its a Chocolate Lava Cake with salted egg custard . I know it sound like its gonna taste damn gross but its not ! Trust me , i was turned off by the salted egg thing as well but when i tasted it , it doesnt taste anything like eggs . The fillings inside is warm & its just good . Worth the try . Javier's girlfriend came to surprise him while we were waiting for our food to come anyway . He had no idea what was going on when she appeared with a cake & a present . Sang a birthday song for him , cut cake session , photo session , last but not least, unwrapping the present ! I was telling hubby what i guess it would be from looking at the shape of the present & yes , i was right . He got a watch that he wanted for so long from Solvil Titus . Hahaha he's a happy boy that night ! & guess how much was the total bill for 5 person ? $204 ! Holy shit .

I went for my routine check up at KKH with hubby yesterday . Nothing much .. just a urine test , bloodpressure test , listening to baby's heart beat . Didnt get to see baby yesterday through the ultra sound . Will only get to see him on the 20th of next month . Doctor arranged me for a glucose test 2 weeks from now . Guess i have been eating too much sweet stuffs . Oops . Gotta control my sugar intake from now . I have been having difficulties falling asleep these days as my baby have been making so much movements here & there . I also experience alot of backaches . Probably due to the weight & also because i'm small build . Its so bad that sometimes it doesnt help even if i lay down on the bed . It would still continue to hurt . Okay so right after the check up , me & hubby went to nex to catch a movie . We watched The Hobbit : The battle of the five armies . I have no interest in this movie because i didnt really watch part 1 & 2 . But the battle of the five armies is really really awesome . Worth watching . It was the 27th of november which was my grandma's birthday . I took a train back home in the evening to celebrate her birthday . Shara , my cousin & her mum came as well . Shara also brought a good friend along with her . They bought her a new house phone as the one she had spoilt but sadly , the phone cant be used yet haha because we cant find where is the plug for the house phone . They bought grandma a banana chocolate cake . Nothing really very special because they brought grandma to eat at manhatten fish market a week before but we all know she's happy . Stayed to chit chat with her & took some polaroids then pasted them on the wall next to her bed . She was so amazed that the photos are so clear & all . Anyway Shara brought me my " belated " wedding gift . " Belated " because she went to buy it before my wedding but only had the chance to pass it to me now hahaha it was a Bride & Groom charm from pandora ! Thanks ! At the end of the day , Shara's friend gave me a lift home , how nice . Thanks again ! 

On the 28th , i had an appointment at KKH for a detailed check up . Hubby specially took an day off on this day so he could accompany me along . Before we left home we were asking each other if we've forgotten to bring anything needed & nope , nothing was forgotten until when we reached the hospital , we realized that i forgot to bring my appointment booklet . Hahahaha doesnt matter anyway , they still let me do my check up . I swear the ultrasound machine was so so clear this time . I could see everything so clearly , the nose , the mouth , the bones , everything except for the genital part of my little boy LOL ! But this is the third doctor telling me its a boy . So yeah , triple confirmed that i'm expecting a boy . So they were checking all the body parts of my little boy to check if everything is good & normal . But my little boy is being naughty when it comes to checking of his heart . He had his arm blocking the doctor's view for this moment & then facing down for another moment . So i was asked to turn to my right & try to cough . Hopefully that will change the position of my little one inside but nope . He's still not letting the doctor check him . Doctor tried pushing my tummy , gently of course & after some time she got kinda pissed . Before that she already asked me to go for a walk for around half an hour . She have been trying to check his heart for about 15 minutes before my boy decides to be good . & everything turned out to be good & normal . My next appointment will be on the 29th of december which is just visiting the doctor & 20th of january which will be another scanning . So visit often to look out for updates ! :D Have a nice december !

Its Thursday today & i went to kkh yesterday for my monthly check up . It was my first visit at kkh because previously i have my monthly check up done at a private clinic . So it was kinda confusing for me . You have to go here & there , do this & that . Luckily hubby was able to get an off day to accompany me yesterday if not i think i would have been so so lost at the hospital not knowing what to do . Hubby was feeling a little lost as well but at least its the two of us feeling lost . Better than me feeling lost alone hahaha . So i had my ultrasound done & it was done quite detailed because i think there's a trainee doctor around . I saw my little boy's head , face , arms , body , legs , heart beat . He've grown so big now . He was being naughty & shy during the scan i guess hahahaha the doctor was having trouble taking photos of him for some records use . He just flips & turn around here & there . Hubby's heart skipped a beat when the doctor say little precious seem like a girl . But after that they managed to see his tweety bird & they said he's not a girl , he was just closing his legs just now . But anyway , i'm gonna have my ultrasound done again on the 28th of this month for the more detailed one . Looking forward !

P:S I now many of you wont be able to figure out how to see an ultrasound photo but dont worry because you're not the only one .

About 3 days back which is the 17th , me & hubby went down to rivervale mall to recontract his phone line & sign a line for me . I've gotten myself an iphone 6 gold while hubby got an iphone 6+ space grey . I would say the battery life for both phones are pretty lasting as they can last for the entire day . Iphone 6 is for people like me with small hands & Iphone 6+ will be for people with larger hands . But hubby said that he feels insecure holding on his phone because its too big & it will drop easily if you're not careful .

On the 14th , hubby bought me a Me & You charm from pandora & it wasnt any special occasion . We just happen to pass by a pandora shop & he asked if i wanna go in & take a look . It was also a newly opened outlet at NEX . So i went in to take a look because i wanted a baby boy charm which looks like this , 

When i was browsing through , hubby ask me to ask the sales attendant if there's any just married charm or something . But i didnt like any of what she showed me . Then i saw this Me & You charm which i find quite pretty . Hubby then decided to buy one for me . I asked him why are you buying me a pandora for no reason & he said ' long long one time nevermind ' . Hahahaha i have been stuck with only one charm since the day he bought it for me & i have been waiting for many months for a second charm . He also said that we'll get the baby boy charm after little precious is born . How exciting ! Well i guess i'm just gonna end the post here for today & i 'll update it again soon . Probably after a day or two after i've done my scanning on the 28th . Thanks for reading , stay tuned !
